Yoga consists of a lot of poses, and you need to figure out which poses you are going to do in order to get the most out of your yoga routine. A big part of the reason what that is the case has to do with the fact that different poses are going to offer you different kinds of results, and figuring out which poses you might just end up doing at any given point in time can be a pretty big determining factor that would greatly impact the level of fitness you can expect after participating in any kind of yoga routine on a regular basis.
While there are quite a few different poses from Marianne Wells Yoga School that you might think are worthy of looking into, in our opinion no pose comes close to the headstand pose which is also referred to as sirsasana. Now, the thing that you need to keep in mind before you attempt this pose is that it most certainly is not meant for beginners. Rather, it is meant for people that have been practicing yoga for a while and are now trying to take their routine to a whole new level.
Suffice it to say that performing this pose will require a fair amount of physical fitness on your part, but if you get to a point where you can maintain this pose for extended periods of time you will find that your body is a lot stronger than it used to be. There are a lot of other health benefits that come with this pose as well, all of which would become noticeable once you have performed this pose daily for at least a few weeks and have been consistent in your practice.
